Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an electroneurodiagnostic technologist to perform long-term video EEG monitoring in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and other patient care areas, including ECOG procedures and Wada testing. Qualifications

• Graduate of a two year electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
• Two years of college in a related field and/or equivalent formal training approved by the Medical Director.
• National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years of electroneurodiagnostics and evoked potential studies.
• 2 years of long term video EEG monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform long-term video EEG monitoring using scalp and intracranial placed electrodes.
• Conduct monitoring in Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, critical care, and operating room for ECOG and cortical stimulation studies.
• Perform sodium Amytal (Wada) testing and inject radiopharmaceutical for seizure patients.
