Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a Neurophysiology Technologist I to perform EEG, video EEG, ambulatory EEG and evoked potentials. The role starts with supervised practice and expands to other neurodiagnostic tests as trained, serving patients from newborn to mature age groups.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and ABRET-accredited training or at least one year of EEG experience. Weekend or overtime may be required; respirator fit testing is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EEG, Video EEG Monitoring, Ambulatory EEG Monitoring and Evoked Potential examinations.
• Learns to perform all other Neurophysiology tests (TCD, NCS and Intra-Operative Monitoring).
