Job summary

Amazon’s Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Neuron Runtime Team to develop and maintain high-performance runtime libraries and drivers for ML accelerators, collaborating with engineers to optimize AI workloads on Inferentia and Trainium devices.

You will own the design, development, and deployment of Neuron Runtime and related components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and usability while working across frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, and XLA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance runtime libraries and drivers for machine learning applications and AI accelerators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy Neuron Runtime components and ensure scalability and reliability.
