Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the AWS Neuron Runtime Team to build and maintain high‑performance runtime libraries and drivers for AI accelerators such as Inferentia and Trainium. As the Software Development Engineer for the Neuron Runtime Team, you will work alongside engineers to develop and maintain high‑performance runtime libraries and drivers for machine learning applications and AI accelerators. You will design, develop and deploy Neuron Runtime and other Neuron components. The profiler plays a crucial role in helping internal and external customers optimize AI workloads across hardware platforms such as Trainium and Inferentia devices by providing deep insights into performance bottlenecks and system behavior.
USA, WA, Seattle – $143,700.00 to $194,400.00 USD annually. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
