Job summary

Henry Ford Health System seeks a Neurologist with subspecialty training in neurophysiology or neuromuscular medicine to join its Neuromuscular Division. You will work in a large, collaborative environment dedicated to advanced neurologic care.

Responsibilities include EMG testing, patient care across subspecialties, and opportunities for teaching medical students and residents, with a potential tenure-track academic appointment through partnering universities.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Neurophysiology and/or Neuromuscular.
• Willingness to teach medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform EMG/nerve conduction studies and related testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team across specialties.
• Contribute to academic appointments and teaching.

Neuromuscular Neurologist

The Neuromuscular Division at Henry Ford Health is seeking board eligible/certified Neurologist with additional fellowship training in Neurophysiology and/or Neuromuscular to join our multi-disciplinary team. The is one of the largest and most active in the Midwest, offering the most advanced neurologic medical and surgical therapies across all the major subspecialties.

• Utilize EMG labs equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation to provide expertise in single-fiber EMG, ultrasound, and autonomic testing.
• Opportunities to teach medical students, neurology residents, and neurophysiology fellows.
• This subspecialty academic practice position also offers a tenure-track academic appointment for those who qualify, through Michigan State University - College of Human Medicine and Wayne State School of Medicine.
• Large supportive staff consisting of Neuromuscular Neurologists, nurses, APP's and MA's.
