Job summary

Job description

Position Title

Neuromuscular Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Perform eight ambulatory sessions per week, including a mix of EMG and outpatient clinics, with a minimum of 45 weeks of service annually.
• Assist neurodiagnostic technicians in supporting procedures at both BIDMC and BID Milton locations.
• Participate in inpatient opportunities (ward, consult, teleneurology) for interested candidates.
• Split clinical practice 50/50 between BIDMC academic location and BID Milton community hospital.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board‑certified or eligible in Neurology.
• Valid Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.

Opportunities

Inpatient care opportunities include ward, consult, and teleneurology services. Practice is split equally between the BIDMC academic campus and BID Milton community hospital.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $185,000 - $355,000. Base compensation may be adjusted based on academic appointment, experience, specialty training, location, productivity, and role expectations. Eligible for performance‑based incentives, including bonuses for productivity and quality. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and a retirement plan with employer contributions.
