Job summary

Bronson Neuroscience Center in Southwest Michigan is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Neuromuscular Neurologist for a full-time position. The role focuses on neuromuscular disorders with opportunities in ALS, neuropathy, and clinical neurophysiology, with dedicated EMG days supported by an experienced lab team.

The successful candidate will join a large, teaching-focused group, have potential leadership over the EMG lab, and participate in teaching and clinical trials through Western Michigan

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in neurology.
• Fellowship in Neuromuscular or Clinical Neurophysiology with EMG emphasis.
• Michigan Medical license, DEA license, and CDS licensing.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with neuromuscular disorders and sub-specialty care.
• Dedicated EMG days with experienced technicians.

Neuromuscular Neurologist

Bronson Neuroscience Center has an outstanding opportunity to join their established, highly reputable practice in Southwest Michigan. Seeking to employ a full-time, fellowship trained, BC/BE Neuromuscular Neurologist. Our successful growing practice currently supports twelve neurologists and eight APPs. The ideal candidate will have a desire for providing personalized, evidence-based, care at the highest level. We are looking for someone who is a good team-player, eager to learn, has great communications skills, and a passion for neurology.

Position overview

• Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders and to focus on sub-specialty care, such as neuropathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc. May have a small component of general neurology. Comprehensive APP Support.

• Dedicated EMG days with support from experienced Neurodiagnostic Technicians within an AANEM Accredited Lab.

• Role also includes leadership position over our Neurodiagnostics/EMG Lab.

• Opportunity for teaching and academic affiliation through Western Michigan University’s Homer Stryker School of Medicine. Participation in clinical trials will be encouraged but not required.

• EMR: Epic

• Weekday call averages 4 nights per month (no weekend call)

Requirements

• Willing to support and lead our ALS Program
