Job summary

Boston Scientific in the United States is seeking a Clinical Specialist 2 to partner with healthcare professionals, support implant procedures, provide technical expertise, and help ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You will work with physicians and hospital staff to educate on therapies and proper product usage, travel regionally on day trips or overnights, and participate in ongoing training to advance pain management through innovation and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a sales and/or clinical role.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical support through programming, troubleshooting, and intraoperative guidance for spinal cord stimulation procedures.
• Deliver patient follow-up care, ensuring optimal therapy performance and long-term success.
• Partner with the sales team and healthcare professionals to drive therapy adoption and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations across formats and platforms.
• Lead educational initiatives for customers by presenting and demonstrating company products using diverse formats.
• Work closely with physicians, hospital staff, and other healthcare providers to deliver tailored education regarding clinical benefits and best practices.
• Engage clients through regular training sessions, workshops, and informational meetings to support optimal therapy outcomes.
• Serve as a resource for current and prospective customers, providing updates on innovations and evidence-based therapies.
• Actively participate in surgical cases within hospital and surgery center environments, providing hands-on support.
• Take an integral role in patient follow-up care by monitoring therapy progress and coordinating with healthcare teams.
• Leverage company resources to identify potential patients and referral sources, educating on neuromodulation benefits.
• Participate in the development and execution of community awareness initiatives to increase patient volume.
• Develop relationships with hospital and ambulatory surgery center personnel to identify key decision makers and facilitate sales.
• Build relationships with office, hospital, and ASC personnel to foster trust and collaboration for future sales opportunities.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from the office, maintaining open communication and providing needed information.
• Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner and in full compliance with regulatory guidelines.
