Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an exceptional Neurology Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team in Grand Rapids. You will train for MRI and CT procedures, participate in neurosurgeries, and assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery in a fast-paced, high-skill environment.

You will also discharge neuro patients with client education and skilled nursing care, perform IVC placement and venipuncture, and help educate clients while maintaining hospital standards of care

Qualifications

• Experience working in a veterinary neurology or anesthesia setting is preferred.
• Proficient in calculating drug dosages and medical math.
• Ability to assist in MRI/CT procedures and perioperative patient care.

Responsibilities

• Set up and train for MRI and CT procedures.
• Spend time in the OR during neurosurgeries.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Calculate medical dosages and CRI calculations.
• Discharge neuro patients with client education and nursing care.
