IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Neurology Technician to join a vibrant ER/specialty team. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, fear-free patient care, and collaborative teamwork in a hospital with MRI, CT, in-house lab, and digital radiology.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Veterinary Technician with an AVMA-accredited program and at least 2 years in emergency or specialty care. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician required with AVMA-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of tech experience, preferably in ER or specialty.
• Strong communication and teamwork across a fast-paced hospital.
• Ability to perform under professional standards and maintain patient care.

Responsibilities

• Observing patients for behavioral changes.
• Preparing patients for diagnostics (radiographs, sample draws, MRI, CSF tap, surgical procedures).
• Performing patient care.
• Collecting and running lab samples.
• Capturing diagnostic images (radiographs and MRI).
• Administering medications orally, intravenously and intramuscularly.
• Collecting and maintaining patient records efficiently and accurately.
• Effective client communication.
• Practice of fear free techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.
