Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center seeks a strategic Unified Administrator for the Department of Neurology. The role reports to the Vice President of the Faculty Practice Group and partners with the neurology chair to lead faculty practice, inpatient operations, finance, and strategic initiatives across a complex academic enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible healthcare administration experience.
• Leadership experience in an academic medical center, faculty practice organization, or integrated health system preferred.
• Neurology experience preferred; other academic specialties considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business planning and growth with department Chair; drive program expansion and priorities.
• Provide executive-level oversight of clinical operations, faculty practice, and inpatient services.
• Direct budgeting, financial planning, and performance management across multiple sites.
• Partner with physicians, chairs, and senior leaders to align academic and clinical missions.
• Champion operational excellence, service quality, and organizational development.
