Job summary
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurosciences unit on the 7pm–7:30am shift with rotating weekends. The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a 36-hour work week (0.9 FTE) in a 24-bed neuroscience unit caring for acute neurological and spine disorders.

Qualifications
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, evaluation)
- Coordinate and delegate nursing tasks per ANA standards
- Collaborate with patients, families and the health care team to deliver high-quality care
