Job summary

MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Neurology team. The RN will coordinate and deliver care for patients with neurological conditions, including triage, care coordination, education, and follow-up.

The Ambulatory Care RN works with neurologists and a multidisciplinary team, with a 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, at Pen Bay or Belfast as needed. BSN preferred; current state RN license and BLS required; 1 year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current RN license in state; BLS certification required or within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of RN experience preferred; onboarding requirements include New Grad Residency where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver care for neurology patients in ambulatory settings.
• Triage patients and provide care coordination, education, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with neurologists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, coordinated care.
• Assist with medication and treatment support and patient education throughout the care process.
