Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care at Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, ME. This full-time Day shift role offers 36 hours per week with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible under policy, with vaccination requirements in place.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in required state; BLS certification required or obtainable within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS and PALS required within 1 year for ICU/SCU/ED/PACU RNs.
• NRP certification required within 1 year for OB/NICU RNs.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.

Skills

RN license

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS within 1 year

NRP within 1 year

Fetal monitoring competency

1 year RN experience preferred

BSN preferred

Education
