Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neurology unit. The RN will apply evidence-based practices, coordinate care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Candidate must have a board-approved nursing program graduate, an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; engages patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with the care team, and ensures safety and quality.
