Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neurology 8 East unit. This part-time Day shift involves direct patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on assessments, coordination, documentation, and compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state, and BLS certification. New graduates encouraged to apply. The role supports a dynamic neuro unit with complex cases and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and care coordination.
• Document care and maintain patient records.
