Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Neurology RN to provide direct patient care on 8 East. You will perform assessments, coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and document thoroughly in accordance with Mercy standards.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with MO or compact licensure, BLS, and a willingness to grow in a fast-paced neuroscience unit. New graduates are welcome to apply; experience in neuro care is a plus. The role is on-site in Missouri and involves day shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active Registered Nurse license in Missouri or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ongoing patient assessments, care coordination, and thorough documentation.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with Mercy's mission and values.
