Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Manager for Illinois South to build and sustain long-term relationships with physicians and other key customers.

You will educate on disease areas and product indications, and drive sales in a compliant, ethical manner across hospital and clinic settings. The role requires strong collaboration with multiple internal teams, the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments, and travel within the territory with attribute high

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven track record of delivering top-tier sales results.
• 5 years pharmaceutical sales or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops long-term relationships with physicians, extended prescribers, and other customers in Illinois South.
• Represents Alexion brands and provides disease and product education to external customers.
• Develops and executes strategic account plans aligned with brand strategy.
• Collaborates with Institutional Account Manager(s), TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s) and other partners.
• Educates physicians on disease diagnosis and treatment, navigating hospital settings to access key stakeholders.
• Uses marketing tools and presentations to support selling efforts across stakeholders.
• Manages territory budget and travel, adheres to ethics and compliance policies.
• Tracks activities and submits timely reports on sales activities.
