Job summary

Griffin Faculty Physicians is actively seeking a Neurology physician to join our group, providing high quality medical and surgical care to patients in an office-based setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO) and completion of a Neurology residency, with valid Connecticut license and DEA registration. Competitive salary with incentives and relocation/hiring bonus may be included.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neurology is required.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Neurology residency completed at an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care for disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system.
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Initiates referrals to specialists and hospital programs.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete patient documentation.
• Ensures compliance with billing and coding with practice management.
• Promotes wellness and health education.
• Participates in on-call coverage with Neurology providers at Griffin Hospital.
• Supervises residents, medical students, nurses, medical assistants and other clinical staff at the site.
