Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PA program.
• TX PA license required and NCCPA certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through physical exams and medical histories.
• Order and interpret labs and tests to assess health needs.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies per protocol.
• Develop outcomes-based treatment plans with physician oversight.
• Counsel patients and families on medications and health management.
• Maintain treatment records and coordinate referrals.
• Provide specialty consultation for related conditions.
• Manage patients in inpatient, ED, or procedural settings.
• Perform invasive procedures as delegated by supervising physician.
