Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician / Physiatrist North Bergen NJ

Full time or Part time

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician (PM&R)/Physiatrist to join our practice in Teaneck and North Bergen, NJ. The physician will examine patients, diagnose pain related to injuries, diseases, or disabling conditions, and manage patient care from start to finish. Candidates can be general or interventional physiatrists; interventional candidates will perform pain procedures in addition to general physiatry duties.

Duties:

1. Diagnose pain caused by injuries, diseases, or disabilities.
2. Develop and implement treatment plans, including physical therapy.
3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
4. Provide adaptive tools to enhance patient health and physical function.
5. Counsel patients and families, assisting with lifestyle adjustments.
6. Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs and rehabilitation potential.
7. Prescribe therapies and modify prescriptions based on patient response.
8. Perform EMG/NCV studies and re-evaluations to track progress.
9. Prescribe and ensure proper fitting of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
10. Maintain comprehensive medical records.
11. Collaborate with community referral sources to facilitate patient care.
12. Perform or refer for interventional pain procedures as trained and indicated.

Requirements:

1. MD/DO license in NJ.
2. Board-Certified or Board-Eligible with ABPMR or BCBE Physiatry.
3. Basic EMG skills or willingness to develop them with mentorship.
4. MSK Ultrasound and/or Interventional skills are a plus but not required.

Schedule:

Full time or Part time

$250k-$400k per year, depending on experience and procedural skills.
