Academic Neuro-Hospitalist Opening in Dayton, OH

Position Details
  • Full-time, permanent
  • Seeking a full-time academic-minded Neurohospitalist with a passion for teaching the next generation of physician learners. The Neurohospitalist will be part of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary neuroscience program providing total neurologic care for patients and their families. The program is a leading neurological care and research facility in Southwest Ohio, diagnosing and treating conditions of the nervous system, brain, and spine.
  • As a faculty member, you will play an integral role in educating neurology students, residents, and fellows while providing care to a diverse patient population.
  • This role involves being part of one of the largest healthcare systems in Southwest Ohio and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. This partnership fosters a dynamic environment where patient care, clinical research, and medical education intersect.
  • You will contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping future healthcare professionals. The health system offers extensive resources, including five inpatient hospital campuses, a broad network of urgent care centers, emergency departments, and specialized services, combined with the academic excellence of Wright State University. This provides an unparalleled platform for growth and impact in healthcare and medical education.
Position Highlights
  • Flexible scheduling options, including a 7 on 7 off schedule or 182 shifts annually
  • Telestroke coverage is not provided by the Neurohospitalist
  • APP support is available
