Job summary

Mercy seeks an RN Nursing Manager to lead the Neurology Department on day shifts, directing nursing care delivery, promoting quality outcomes, and ensuring efficient resource use.

A Bachelor's degree is required (BSN preferred; Master's preferred), active RN license in the state, and at least three years of clinical leadership experience; strong interpersonal skills and data analysis ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Internal transfer applicants may be considered if pursuing a degree.
• Three years of clinical experience required.
• Must be proficient with a personal computer and able to analyze complex data from information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of nursing care to a specific patient population on a 24-hour basis.
• Promote a professional practice environment aligned with Mercy mission and values.
• Implement elements of the Nursing Strategic Plan within the department.
