Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. You will provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other conditions.

This is a part-time role in Abington, MA with a focus on collaborative care and education. This position emphasizes patient education, coordination with physicians, and thorough documentation, along with participation in quality

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• At least 6 months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• One year of experience in Neurology preferred.
• DEA license and CPR BLS certification.
• Experience documenting in EMR (Sigma/Visual/PCC) preferred; training provided.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and care delivery.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat neurological conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Neurology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
