Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our Texas clinics. The role involves direct patient care, prescriptive authority, and coordination with supervising physicians across several specialties.

The position requires Texas RN licensure (or compact privilege) and current Texas NP licensure, with BLS within 30 days of hire. You will work in an outpatient setting with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Nurse Practitioner (NP), Registered Nurse (RN), BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory tests.
• Prescribes or recommends medical therapies and performs procedures per protocols.
• Develops and implements patient treatment plans with physicians and team.
• Counsels patients and families on medications, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Maintains patient records and coordinates referrals as needed.
• Provides consultation for specialty conditions and service lines.
• Performs procedures within scope of practice per supervision requirements.
