UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Neurology team at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, MA. The role focuses on comprehensive outpatient neurology care in a community hospital setting, collaborating with physicians and APPs to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has a background in neurology with a strong clinical assessment ability and a commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork within an integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Eligible or current Massachusetts license, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA).
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive neurological histories and physical examinations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with neurologists, APPs, and primary care providers.
