BAS Healthcare, Inc. seeks an Advanced Practitioner / PA in Neurology to join a neurology team delivering both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care in Winchester, MA.

The ideal candidate holds MA NP/PA license with DEA and MCSR, board certification, ACLS/BLS, and 1–2 years of neurology or related experience. This role emphasizes coordinated, high-quality patient care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA license in Massachusetts; includes DEA and MCSR.
• Board certification required; Acute Care NP preferred for inpatient scope.
• NCCPA certification required for PAs.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years neurology, neurosurgery, or hospital medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient responsibilities include responding to acute neurology consults, daily rounds, managing post-stroke protocols, and coordinating safe discharge plans.
• Outpatient responsibilities include diagnosing and managing migraines, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and cognitive disorders.
• Handle post-discharge follow-up appointments in the ambulatory clinic setting.
• Order and interpret neuro-imaging studies including MRI, CT, and EEG.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
