Qualifications

• Credentialed NP with prescriptive authority in Texas.
• RN licensure in Texas or compact privileges.
• Current APRN certification for patient population focus.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical and mental condition and takes histories.
• Orders and interprets labs and tests to assess needs.
• Prescribes therapies and performs procedures per protocol.
• Develops treatment plans and evaluates patient response.
• Counsels patients and families on care, meds, and nutrition.
• Maintains records and coordinates with supervising physicians.
• Provides consultation for conditions related to specialty.
• Manages patients in various healthcare settings as needed.
