UPMC is seeking a Professional Staff Nurse for the Neurology unit at our Community Osteopathic campus in Harrisburg. This full-time, night-shift position includes working every third weekend and every other holiday, with a focus on leadership, teaching, and collaborative patient care.

• 0-2 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and patients, with accountability for actions and safety.
• Provide teaching to patients, families, students and new staff to guide care transitions.
• Apply nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment and partner with patients.
• Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and unit governance to improve care and practice.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and contribute to multidisciplinary rounds to improve care and satisfaction.
