Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Research Assistant in Neurology (Neuromuscular) to support clinical research coordination and lab-based studies. You will assist with pre-screening potential study subjects, scheduling visits, maintaining regulatory binders, data entry, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to advance neuromuscular research.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good time management, and familiarity with Microsoft Office;

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience; education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Health care or research experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Neurology/Neuromuscular research background helpful.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain regulatory binders and ensure data entry per sponsor requirements.
• Assist with potential study subject screening and recruitment.
• Help coordinators prepare study visits, forms, and lab kits.
• Compile, analyze, and document experimental results; discuss plans with the principal investigator.
• Coordinate with investigators and hospital staff as needed.
