Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS invites applications for a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Neuromuscular program of Neurology. You will supervise trial procedures, coordinate visits, and ensure regulatory compliance while prioritizing participant safety and well-being.

You will recruit and educate patients, obtain informed consent, coordinate MRI/PET and other procedures, collect data, report adverse events, and support IRB submissions.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in basic science or health related field preferred.
• Experience with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Neurology or neuromuscular research experience preferred.
• SOCRA CCRP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, evaluates, and educates patients about neuromuscular trials.
• Obtains informed consent per SOPs for cognitive status.
• Coordinates study visits and procedures (MRI, PET, labs, CSF collection).
• Documents trial activities per regulatory requirements.
• Manages AE/SAE reporting to sponsor and IRB as applicable.
• Prepares and ships specimens and maintains regulatory binders.
• Ensures data entry into sponsor/internal databases within 3 days.
