Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine and complex technical skills within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop rapport with patients, team members and physicians.
• Proficient computer skills including keyboarding and navigation in Windows OS, and EMR usage.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, verify vital signs and medical history; health maintenance and screenings.
• Assist providers with procedures and orders; perform venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Administer medications and vaccines following safety protocols; handle referrals and scheduling.
