Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certification in CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA or NRCMA or must become certified within six months.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient patient flow in the clinic and prepares patients for examinations.
• Assists practitioners with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations and CLIA-waived testing as directed.
• Keeps exam rooms stocked, disinfected and organized; monitors inventory and maintains safety standards.
• Communicates with patients and care team professionally in person and on the phone.
• Performs delegated procedures safely and according to guidelines; supports the supervisor as needed.
