Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a seasoned market insights professional to lead the Adult Neurology franchise’s market understanding.

You will develop research plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate insights into strategic recommendations influencing pipeline and lifecycle decisions. The role requires deep expertise in pharma market research, data analytics, and effective communication with stakeholders, across US and global markets, within a fast-paced biopharma

Qualifications

12+ years of Pharma / biotech experience.
Bachelor’s degree required, relevant advanced degree preferred.
Experience with market research across modalities along the product lifecycle.
Experience in the U.S. market required; global insights preferred.
Experience in Neurology and rare disease markets is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define and lead end-to-end market insights plans and long-term research roadmap.
Serve as strategic advisor for program leads, guiding data-driven decisions.
Identify external partners and manage delivery for market insights projects.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and competitive intelligence.
Pressure-test conclusions to ensure objective, data-driven results.
Translate outputs into actionable insights for cross-functional leadership.
