Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant for Neurology to supervise the Medical Assistants and support the physician and clinical team.

The role includes onboarding and training, managing patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and contributing to quality and compliance across the department. A minimum of 5 years as a Medical Assistant and relevant certifications are required, with leadership experience preferred and BLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Assoc. degree/diploma in Medical Assisting or equivalent.
• X-Ray program diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads huddles to monitor department workflow.
• Provides orientation and training for Medical Assistants and administrative staff.
• Assists with administrative and clinical support activities including facilities management and payroll.
• Monitors patient care flow and assists with CS-Link message pools.
• Sets up exam/procedure rooms based on patient needs.
