Physicians' Clinic of Iowa in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the Neurology Department in a high-volume practice. You will assist with examinations, manage vitals, and coordinate care.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, injections, prior authorizations, and education on treatment plans, while maintaining confidentiality and strong teamwork within a compassionate clinical team.

Qualifications

• CMA or LPN certification required.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Proficiency in EMR and related computer systems.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures.
• Record vitals and maintain patient health data.
• Prepare Botox injections and administration.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and medications.
• Complete prior authorizations for treatment and diagnostic testing.
• Record and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic results; coordinate patient communication.
