Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced RN to support our Neuro Clinic. The role includes caring for neurology patients, performing related procedures, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.

You will supervise Clinical Medical Assistant staff, manage patient flow, educate patients, triage calls, and support providers throughout the day. A 40-hour work week with 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, is typical.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months nursing experience required.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required at time of hire.
• BLS CPR required.
• Associate's Degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
• BSN (preferred) and applicants w/an ADN in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a BSN program within 1 year of hire and complete their BSN w/in 4 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Oversee Clinical Medical Assistant staff and manage patient flow, ensuring scope of practice is maintained.
• Support the providers as patients come in and collaborate with the team to optimize the patient experience.
• Provide patient education and triage calls and inquiries throughout the day.
