Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Care Partner to deliver bedside patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. This role also includes essential clerical duties to keep the nursing unit running smoothly.

The Care Partner will assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort, while contributing to a safe and respectful patient experience. Training and ongoing learning opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required for this role.

Responsabilités

• Meet the basic needs of patients by providing bedside care under RN supervision.
• Perform clerical duties to support nursing unit operations.
• Assist with patient care including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with monitoring.
• Support respiratory, wound, and bowel/bladder care as directed.
• Assist with admissions, discharge, and care coordination.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and communicate patient needs to nurses.
