Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a results-oriented sales professional to execute and promote products within the assigned territory in Oregon/Eugene. You will collaborate with the District Sales Manager to shape day-to-day sales strategies and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use.

The role requires a BS/BA with a GPA >3.0, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel, with strong relationships and territory knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion strategy.

  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation within the territory.
  • Communicate persuasively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to targeted audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and the promotional budget.
  • Complete required monitoring and reporting (expenses and call reporting).
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet credentialing requirements; complete ad-hoc projects as needed.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Execute and promote products aligned to sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion strategy.
  • Analyze the local market and develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (budgets, time, etc.) within the territory.
  • Communicate persuasively using advanced selling and negotiation skills to targeted audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and the promotional budget.
  • Complete required monitoring and reporting (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet industry-standard healthcare provider/customer facility/state/local credentialing requirements; complete ad-hoc projects as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Self-starter with goal/results-driven, above-average results track record.
  • Hunter mentality to sell and compete.
  • Strong relationships and territory knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to travel (may include overnights); may require out-of-territory travel to HQs, training, and meetings; work hours may include outside normal hours; must reside within territory geography.
