Job summary

The Amarillo VA Health Care System seeks a full-time Neurologist to treat and manage neurological conditions in Veteran patients, including seizure disorders, MS, neurodegenerative diseases, and migraines. A recruitment/relocation incentive and Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) may be offered to qualified candidates.

Applicants must meet basic licensure requirements, be proficient in English, and have board certification/eligibility in Neurology.

Qualifications

• Board certification/eligibility in Neurology preferred.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States or equivalent.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Treat and manage neurological conditions in veteran patients.
• Conduct neurologic consultations and follow-up care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise nursing and medical staff in patient treatments.
• Stay current with advances in neurology and provide education.
