Qualifications

• US citizenship as required by VA policy.
• MD or equivalent degree in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• Full, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility for specialty.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Standing/walking for major portion of work day.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient neurology care.
• Evaluate, triage, and prioritize requests from Primary Care providers.
• Conduct physical examinations; order and evaluate labs.
• Plan and prescribe treatment; coordinate medical care with PCPs.
• Perform and supervise neurology procedures; provide on-call services.
• Complete CME and mandatory trainings; HIPAA/security trainings.
• Work Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00am–4:30pm.
