Job summary

The Provider Finder is actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a thriving healthcare organization in Shelton, Connecticut. This is a full-time, direct hire role offering clinical autonomy and strong referral support.

Outpatient-focused, Monday–Friday schedule with a flexible start date. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, malpractice with tail, PTO, CME, and 401(k)).

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of Neurology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neurological disorders.
• Perform and interpret EMGs, EEGs, and other neurodiagnostic studies.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists.
• Maintain detailed medical records using EMR.
• Minimal or no hospital call depending on structure.

Position Overview:

• Location: Shelton, CT
• Schedule: Full-time, outpatient-focused (Monday-Friday)
• Start Date: Flexible, based on physician availability
• Employment Type: W-2, direct hire
• Compensation: Competitive base salary + bonus structure

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neurological disorders (e.g., headaches, seizures, stroke, MS, neuropathies, etc.)
• Perform and interpret EMGs, EEGs, and other neurodiagnostic studies (if applicable)
• Collaborate with referring primary care physicians and specialists
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using EMR
• Minimal or no hospital call (depending on structure)

Ideal Candidate:

• MD or DO degree with completion of Neurology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fellowship training in subspecialties (optional but welcomed - e.g., epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular)
