The ideal candidate will perform thorough neurological assessments, interpret tests such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CTs, and develop individualized treatment plans while educating patients on diagnoses and management options.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
• Active or eligible state medical license.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in an ambulatory setting.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests (EEGs/EMGs/MRIs/CTs as applicable).
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including but not limited to headaches, epilepsy, stroke follow-up, movement disorders, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, and cognitive disorders
• Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans (as applicable)
• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
