Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency training program.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) by ABPN.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license and valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed medical history reviews and systematic neurological examinations.
• Order and interpret neuroimaging (MRI, CT) and laboratory diagnostics; use EEG/EMG/NCS as needed.
• Provide non-surgical specialty care for acute and chronic nervous system conditions.
• Perform procedures such as Botox injections for chronic migraines and occipital nerve blocks.
• Coordinate care with primary care, neurosurgeons, therapists, and social workers.

e Outpatient Neurologist provides expert, non-surgical specialty care for acute and chronic conditions affecting the central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems. The provider works Monday through Friday during standard business hours

Clinical Evaluation: Conduct detailed medical history reviews, systematic symptom tracking, and comprehensive physical neurological examinations.

• Chronic Management: Design and implement individualized, evidence-based longitudinal treatment plans for ongoing conditions.
• Diagnostic Interpretation: Order and interpret neuroimaging (MRI, CT), laboratory diagnostics, and specialized testing like EEG and EMG/NCS.
• Office Procedures: Perform clinical interventions such as therapeutic Botox injections for chronic migraines, trigger point injections, or occipital nerve blocks.
• Care Coordination: Partner with primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, therapists, and social workers to maintain integrated healthcare delivery.
• Documentation: Complete electronic health record (EHR) entries, medical billing codes, and insurance pre-authorizations efficiently.

• Headache Disorders: Chronic migraines, cluster headaches, and tension headaches.
• Epilepsy & Seizures: Management of anticonvulsant therapeutic levels and seizure control.
• Movement Disorders: Parkinson’s disease, essential tremors, and dystonia.
• Neuromuscular Diseases: Peripheral neuropathy, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS.
• Cognitive Disorders: Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, and cognitive decline.
• Demyelinating Diseases: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and related neuroimmunology issues.
• Post-Acute Care: Follow-up treatment for patients recovering from a stroke or traumatic brain injury.

• Education: Graduation with an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency training program.
• Certification: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BC/BE) by theAmerican Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
• Licensure: An active, unrestricted state medical license and valid DEA registration.
