Job summary

Albany Med seeks a full-time BC/BE Neurologist with fellowship in Movement Disorders to join the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center at Albany Medical College in the Department of Neurology. You will join a busy outpatient practice with a steady flow of patients across the full spectrum of movement disorders.

The role includes involvement in clinical trials and collaborative research, teaching residents and medical students, and participation in conferences and curriculum activities.

Qualifications

Job description

The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center at Albany Medical College, as part of the Department of Neurology, is looking for a full time BC/BE Neurologist with fellowship training in movement disorders.

You’ll join a busy outpatient practice with a steady flow of patients across the full spectrum of movement disorders. The center also has an active clinical trials program and robust collaborative research activity, offering the chance to balance clinical work with academic involvement.

We are looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a commitment to patient care and teaching. Experience with deep brain stimulation management and botulinum toxin therapy is ideal.

Position Highlights:

Preferred Expertise:

• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
• Strong interest in education and mentorship
