Primarily outpatient practice with DBS and botulinum toxin injections, in an academic setting.

The successful candidate will participate in teaching, clinical research, and multidisciplinary care with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and other teams at Rutgers Health.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
  • Fellowship training in Movement Disorders.
  • Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure.
  • Experience with botulinum toxin therapy and DBS evaluation/programming preferred.
  • Passion for academic medicine, education, and multidisciplinary patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily outpatient Movement Disorders practice.
  • Join a multidisciplinary team with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and others.
  • Participate in a comprehensive DBS program, including evaluation and programming.
  • Perform botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders.

Rutgers Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Movement Disorders Neurologist to join the Division of Movement Disorders at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. This faculty position offers an exciting opportunity to practice in a premier academic medical center while advancing patient care, education, and clinical research in Movement Disorders.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
