Job description

Position: Neurologist - Movement Disorder Specialist (full-time equivalent 1.0 FTE).

Position Overview

Capital Health serves a diverse patient population across central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA. Our two-hospital health system, with locations in urban Trenton and suburban Hopewell, provides care to patients from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

Pay Range

$318,000.00 - $578,681.00

Opportunity Details

Diagnose complex medical problems by reviewing patient history, conducting examinations, and performing neurological tests.
Consult with patients on aftercare and long-term health management strategies.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments or medication as needed.
Prescribe treatments or medication best suited to improve patient condition.
Order tests and interpret results to determine best treatment options.
Maintain accurate patient medical records; complete all necessary documentation for billing and claim submission.
Attend training and seminars to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in neurology.
Participate in on-call schedule in a responsive and timely manner.

Qualifications

Medical Degree (MD or DO).
Neurology Residency Completion.
Completion of Movement Disorders fellowship.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
