Job summary

The Neurologist at Mary Washington Healthcare provides comprehensive, evidence-based neurological care to adult patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The physician evaluates, diagnoses, and treats disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscles, and neuromuscular system while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program.
• Fellowship training in a neurological subspecialty is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological disorders.
• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic studies (MRI, CT, EEG, EMG/NCS, LPs) and coordinate advanced therapies.
