Qualifications

• MD or DO in Medicine from an accredited school
• Successful completion of Neurology residency
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
• Annual CME as required by Board specialty
• DEA and other certificates to legally practice in Texas
• Hospital privileges if required for specialty

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and neurological examinations
• Diagnose, treat and refer patients with neurological disorders
• Maintain problem-oriented health records and timely documentation
• Order diagnostic tests and coordinate imaging and labs
• Review lab and imaging results and update patient management
• Maintain appropriate productivity and efficient patient flow
• Provide excellent patient and family communication
• Train, mentor, and supervise staff as appropriate
• Take after-hours and weekend on-call as scheduled
• Follow clinic policies and safety procedures
• Participate in health promotion and clinic meetings
• Monitor patient satisfaction and quality metrics
• Perform other duties as assigned
