Job summary

Myana in Texas seeks a Neurologist to provide comprehensive care in outpatient and inpatient settings. You will examine patients, diagnose neurological disorders, and develop treatment plans while maintaining quality documentation.

The candidate should hold an MD/DO, complete a Neurology residency, and be board-certified or board-eligible with Texas licensure and DEA registration. Bilingual English/Spanish and BLS are preferred; CME is required annually.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Texas.
• MD or D.O. degree from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy.
• Successful completion of Neurology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology required.
• Annual continuing medical education as required by Board specialty.
• Must be registered and have current DEA and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas.
• Hospital privileges at designated area hospitals if required for specialty.
• Scheduled hours and/or work locations are subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurological examinations, diagnose and treat neurological disorders in in-patient and out-patient settings.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate to patient conditions.
• Maintain comprehensive, timely health records and ensure documentation is complete.
• Order and review diagnostic tests (lab, imaging) and refer to specialists as needed.
• Ensure continuity of care and participate in clinic/hospital meetings and after-hours on-call rotation.
